First starter heads odds in the Black Opal Stakes

First starter Autumn Ballet is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Canberra this afternoon, the Black Opal Stakes (1200m).

History is against the GaiBott filly with no horse winning the race on debut but with strong trial work under the belt and not much depth to this line up, she is favourite at $3.30.

Stablemate The Years is on the second line of betting at $4 alongside Tiz Invincible. Disneck has had admirers at odds, into $9.50 from $27.
