Franchise GM John Schneider said via Seattle Sports about interacting with the nine-time All-Pro athlete for a potential reunion. GM Schneider mentioned, “Pete Carroll and I were able to talk to him and we had a great, awesome, frank conversation, so he knows where we’re, and we know where he’s at.”

Bobby Wagner opened his career with The Blue Wave and was with them for ten seasons. However, when the franchise was under speculation over a mega Russell Wilson trade, Wagner was unceremoniously released from the franchise. It led to some friction among both parties, but the Seattle front took the responsibility.
