Happy Sunday West Michigan! A cold and dreary day is expected as winds shift out of the west and northwest. That will keep the region cloudy with off-and-on rain and snow showers today. Light lake effect snow showers will continue into the overnight hours. I don’t expect any snow to accumulate during the daytime hours, but as temperatures drop below freezing after sundown, some areas along & west of U.S. 131 could pick up some very minor accumulation on grassy and elevated surfaces.

After some lingering snow showers fizzle out tomorrow morning, the week ahead looks very quiet. Temperatures to start the week will be seasonable with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s, and warmer air moves in late week. No big snow in sight… sorry skiers!
